Honey & Fitz Nursery Week
I have so much to share with you (hopefully I get my blogging mojo back one day?!). Lots of designs, lots of features and lots of general bits and pieces!
I recently received an email from Dina at Honey and Fitz seeing if I was interested putting a design together as part of her Nursery design week (Dina is pregnant with #2 boy and is putting together the nursery at the moment). Um, sure! See Dina has been on the Nate show (I know we only get a very rare screening of the Nate show here in Australia, but I love Nate and have a few of his books), who has been on the Oprah show, so Dina and Oprah are practically bff’s….how could I say no?!
Dina has rounded up some fabulous talent to share nursery designs with her reader (Joni from Lay Baby Lay, Lauren from A Lovely Lark, Cristin at Simplified Bee to name just a few), so I was thrilled to be apart of it.
As we come into spring, I’m hanging for colour so I knew the nursery I designed would be full of colour. I also haven’t had any clients request (not yet anyway) a geometric room, so I wanted to show what I could do there as well. Add to that my current obsession with Kalon cots and faux deer heads, the design was nearly complete (well in my mind – now I just had to find the products to fit into that).
This is what I came up with:
For all the product details, head over to Honey & Fitz. And while you are there, check out all the other fabulous designs!
